Baked Sea Bream ‘plaki’

Ingredients

  • Two Sea Bream, gutted and cleaned
  • 3 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Star anise
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 fennel, sliced
  • 100ml white wine
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 7 sprigs thyme, chopped
  • 7 sprigs rosemary, chopped
  • Garlic (at will)

Preparation

  1. Season the fish
  2. Stuff the fish with garlic and onions, then add some coriander, rosemary and thyme
  3. Fill the tray with the remaining ingredients and pour olive oil over the fish.
  4. Oven bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes
